With the new year in full swing, you may be feeling you need a little help to stick with whatever program you’re on. Or, if you’ve fallen off the wagon already, perhaps it is time to help you get back on. That whole situation makes me think of the wonderful question posed to Batman by his father: “And why do we fall, Bruce? – So we can we can learn to pick ourselves back up.”  I mean, it really is true! There is no reason to stop any habit we wish to continue except that we have not yet learned to pick ourselves back up. Perhaps you even know how. It is just a matter of doing it, right?

One way to pick ourselves back up is to be ready with lots of thoughtful ideas and support at our fingertips. I want to share a little gem of an app I have found called Pulse which can be found for apple or android. It is a free app for your phone that allows you to plug in any blog so you have access to the latest posts and several of those which came before. I feel like I have all the magazines I could want right there with me. It is quite handy when waiting at the doctor’s office, or for kids to arrive. I have a little yogic blog or two to check out! Make sure to put coldwaterhaven.com on there! You will soon find you can put lots of the other blogs you follow on there, too! It is also really easy to use.

So the main point is to keep some ideas coming about yoga or whatever else you are trying to accomplish. “Action flows where attention goes!”

Pose of the Day: Dandasana. This seated pose may look like it doesn’t do much, but it is worth taking time to get to know it. It can change your whole world when it comes to sitting and bending forward.

Yogic Concept of the Day: Just keep showing up, Sticktoitiveness, or persistence.
